| The series starts out with the pupils and parents arriving and making
their way to the Assembly Hall.
The teachers join them and finally the Headmaster Richard Fawcett arrives to give his welcome speech. The pupils then have 3 minutes to say their goodbyes and then are instructed to file off to the sixties.

| The pupils then collect their uniforms which they will wear.
The uniforms are made of acrylic and nylon which reflected the sixties clothing. Whilst collecting their uniforms they get their first taste of sixties discipline as Miss. Gibson tells them not to talk. |

| Sophia and Sarah make the mistake of continuing to talk and receive a
more forceful warning from Miss. Gibson.
They pupils then enter the boarding house to get changed the boys getting a warning from Housemaster Maurice Pirotte that they should always turn Left and left only!! When asked why he tells them the girls are to the right. |
